The purpose of this update is to inform those who are newly discovering Shiv Sewa Sangh Mandir & Cultural Center that we are open to the public for service and events.

Due to the continuing surge of persons being tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and the Provincial’s guideline and recommendations, the members of the Shiv Sewa Sangh Mandir  have decided to suspend services and classes held at the mandir  in an effort to reduce the potential spread of the virus.  This  change  is  effective immediately until further notice.

As per Ontario’s Premier, Mr. Doug Ford, religious places of worship are allowed to reopen with social distancing rules in place and attendance limited to 30 percent of the facility’s capacity.

The management team would like to let you know that the Shiv Sewa Sangh Mandir will be reopened as of Sunday June 14, 2020 at 9:30am.

With the physical distancing measures in place at mandir, the current maximum capacity of devotees at any one time will be 17.

With this in mind, we are kindly advising devotees who would like to attend mandir to call our mandir in advance (at 416 261 0281) to ensure that its maximum capacity has not been met.

We would like to advise all of those in attendance to please adhere to our precautionary rules including the practice of physical distancing and the use of hand sanitizer, gloves, and face masks. All devotees must wear face masks and gloves.

Please take a look at the questionnaire  below.  If your answer is “yes” to 1 or more of the questions asked,  please  do  not  attend  mandir.

If you answered ”no” to all of the above questions:

In an effort to reduce the potential spread of the CoronaVirus (COVID-19), services and classes held at the Shiv Sewa Sangh Mandir will be suspended until further notice.
