Om Gam Ganapataye Namo Namaha
Meaning:
Om – The sound of the vibration of the universe, the primordial sound
Gam – The seed sound, or bija sound, of Lord Ganesha
Ganapataye – Another name for Shree Ganesh, the remover of obstacles.
Namaha – I offer you my salutations, I bow to you.
Aum Gajananam bhutah ganadhi sevitam
Kapitttha jambhu phal sara bhak shanam
Uma sutam shoka vinaasha karakam
Namami vigneshwara paada panka jam
We bow to the lotus feet of Lord Ganesh, the remover of all obstacles, and the elephant- headed lord of “bhutas” and “Ganas” who partakes in the essence of “Kapitha” and Jamboo” fruits, who is the son of Parvati Maa and who removes the sufferings of his devotees.
